Panels feature distinguished writers in exile from Venezuela, Iran, Turkey
Sampsonia Way, the online journal of literature, free speech and social justice published by City of Asylum, will host a series of online video panel discussions featuring writers-in-exile, powered by Google Hangout. Titled EXILE HANGOUT, the three events will reunite writers in exile from Venezuela (January 14), Iran (January 21). A Turkish event is planned and will be scheduled soon; watch this space for further announcements.
Each Exile Hangout will feature a panel of distinguished writers and moderators in conversation about literature and the current situation in their home countries. Visitors will be able to post comments and questions for the panel. The panels will be streamed live on the scheduled date, and will be archived for viewing afterward.
To visit the Exile Hangouts, go to Sampsonia Way’s Exile Hangouts page.
