Throughout August 2021, Thumbscrew (Mary Halvorson, guitar; Michael Formanek, double bass; and Tomas Fujiwara, drums) were living on Sampsonia Way as part of their fourth City of Asylum residency, developing original compositions for their newest album. This concert, recorded on the final days of residency, is a showcase of their new material and a sneak peak of a forthcoming album.
