One day. 50 states. 1600+ bookstores—and the best place to celebrate is City of Asylum Bookstore!
Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day celebration that has taken place at indie bookstores across the country for the last 12 years. City of Asylum will be celebrating all day with signings from local authors, flash tattoos, door prizes, discounts, and more.
“Every year, we say this is the most important year for books. This time, it truly feels like it. The freedom to read is something we often take for granted, as is the indispensable role of indie bookstores. This April, we’re doubling down on what we love most: reading! Not just for its power but for its pure joy. We can’t wait to celebrate that with you, our incredible community.” —Phoenix Tefel, Bookstore Manager at City of Asylum
